Wood Fencing

Picket Fence fabricates all our pressure treated and red cedar fences in our wood shop.  We feel this creates a more structurally sound product while allowing the customer to custom design their own fence.  Each job is built taking into consideration the  measurements and characteristics of each property.  This allows for quicker installation at the job site and an eye-pleasing final result.

Southern Yellow Pine is our product of choice.  The unique cellular structure permits deep, uniform penetration of preservative chemicals, rendering the wood useless as a food source for fungi, termites and micro-organisms.  The use of (ACQ) Treated Southern Pine products poses no measurable risk to humans, animals, plant or marine life.

Red Cedar - America’s favorite wood for fencing...

Known for it’s natural beauty and rugged durability.  Recognized as the “worry free” fencing material because it contains a naturally occurring substance called Tanin.  This natural preservative gives the wood its characteristic spicy smell, and helps to protect against insects and decay.  Western Red Cedar can be left natural and will age to a rich silvery color.  It also takes clear oils, stains or paint equally well. 

Spruce - A high quality, economical fence panel, providing privacy and security.  Available in 3 styles…pencil point, concave or convex.

Split Rail - Adds the warmth and charm of country living.  It can be an inexpensive solution for marking property lines or adding a decorative accent to your property.  Available in 2-rail, 3-rail or 4-rail styles.
